Miss Polonia 2006
Melissa Bartoszewski was honored as Miss Polonia 2006 during our annual event, the Polish Festival on June 11, 2006 at Clinton Square in Syracuse, New York.
While attending LeMoyne College, Melissa Bartoszewski is studying pre-med to fulfill her life-long dream of becoming a doctor. Melissa, along with her family, has been a huge help with Syracuse Polish Community for quite a few years; she also volunteers with WCNY Tel-Auc Dollars for Scholars as well as for local road races. Melissa is an athlete, participating in Track and Field as well as tennis. In addition to all of this, she works at the LeMoyne College Library, certainly making Melissa a busy lady. Last summer she was interning at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital as well as taking summer courses.
